The City of Evil pt. 1 Chap 4
Chapter Four:
On the cracked sidewalk I felt the clouds move just enough for the crescent moon to shine through and cast a bright silver light in between the cracks. This city wasn't normal, but I had a feeling that there was something there. I dropped to my knees and reached my bruised arm out. My dirtied fingers touched an icy silver chain. Instinctively I pulled back, put something had me reach out to grab it again. It easily slipped out of the crack. A marble designed amulet hung from the silver. The off-white base shined over the light, the darker caramel brown swirled over the quarter-sized circle. In a dark, dark brown (almost a blac

Chapter 3:
Shadow straightened up as I left the office. He was sitting at a stool talking to Jimmy, whispering a conversation that cut off when I placed a bare foot on the carpet. I turned to look at him; he was tired, but this was the first time that I noticed. His eyes were sunk in, the dark purple rings around them made his eyes dull, making me shiver at the look of them. I shut the door to the office and looked around taking a few more hesitant steps away from the frame. "Lillyth," Shadow spoke. I looked to my left and there he was; in the blink of an eye he was three feet from me. I bit my lip slightly and looked up at him, everything g

Their eyes followed me as I got up, looking right back at them as they turned crimson. Syn, one of the five of them, had gone out and brought back a bag full of a thick reddened liquid and some newer, less bloodied clothes. "I can't stand the smell of old dried blood," He had complained. I limped over to the yellow bathroom in the musky motel room. Shadow, the more muscular one got up and followed me. He shut and locked the door behind before leaning against the counter and folding his arms across his chest.
"I am not keeping my eyes off of you," He stated. "Out there in this world you would be dead by time you w

I ran barefoot along the winding dirt path, the moon painting a silver glow along my pale skin and the road. It pushed its way through the thick trees, casting shadows from the foliage. My bloody feet pressed their way past the foreboding darkness, my ankles dripped thick crimson. My fingertips were torn and smarted from the splinters and pressing against the trees to hide my nearly destroyed body from them. I didn't know who 'they' were, they were just there. I'm assuming they were twisted demonic beings from another dwelling. Their mission was to save me for last, considering I had already watched them kill everyone else.
It started last w

Chapter Two: Home.
I picked up Brian's laptop from the floor beside the bunk that I shared with Arin and I opened the purple lid as the background lit up. I stared at it for a while. It was a picture of Brian and Zacky wrapped in a tight hug from Jimmy as they all flipped off the camera. I smiled at the thought of how Jimmy and I use to act together. I really missed him and wished that Val didn't send me away so fast because I really wanted to get to know him.
I opened up firefox and then opened up my own website that I had made when I was with one of the families. It was more of like an online journal with more than three hundred foll

Chapter One- Fear.
I sat on the wooden fence with my hands resting on my legs as I stared out to nothing. There were just hills and grass and though I loved being out here I was slowly realizing that maybe it just wasn't meant to be. I looked down at my boots and jeans and thought for a moment as the sunset glowed off of my tan skin. One of the horses trotted over to me and nudged my torso. I scratched his neck and watched as his tail moved back and forth. Not to long ago I had brushed his mane and not that long ago I had groomed him to take my mind off of things. Skeeter, the horse moved so i could pet his back and as i did so he snorted a

Let the Rayine Fall Chapter 1
Her hands hung down as her wrists were being gripped by her two older half brothers. The bones in her spine were pressing against the skin as her head fell. Tears dripped to the floor. The concrete hurt her knees. She heard it hit the ground. The noise made her flinch. There it was again. The cracking sound hurt her ears. Whimpers moved through her lips. "Shut up," He yelled. Rayine's green eyes let more tears fall. She had just enough strength to lift her head and say one thing.
Her neck ached as she looked up at her mother. Her teeth were barred and her lips were slightly parted. Her cheeks were wet and puffy; Her eyes, the color of red. "
